Hey all can i rate someone's hub down if he's making hubs of celebrity bikini pics and pics showing sexual related stuff. Its pissing me off to see that people around here are just polluting hubpages with actress pics and sexual pics. They are as it is all over the web.
I just reported a hub for advertising an escort agency. I rate the hubs you are refering to down but don't report them. If you are offended, chances are others would be too...Rate it down...it is your right to do so.
You can rate a hub any way you want to that is what the feature is for.
I do not think bikini pics violate TOS so I do not think flagging is necessary but by all means express your opinion.
Thanks @relache.I sighed after reading your reply. It felt good to know people are noticing it and feel the same way.
Request: Please flag and rate down such hubs.In fact I've requested hubpages to consider making a rule of not making such hubpages.
You need to get off your high horse and worry about yourself and not what others are doing. Photo hubs are not against the TOS at all and in fact they have a specific category made just for them so I doubt Hubpages staff is going to ban them just because they offend you.
If you feel the need to rate them down, go right ahead as it is your right to do so. I would however question if there are things more worthy of your time as opposed to going on a photo Hub rating crusade.
I agree these things can be done tastefully if they emphisize a point. For instance if the hub was on weight lose.
You are so right @srwnson .i'm sure a lot of people have the same opinion.i believe they are just polluting hubpages with those raunchy pics.As it is the porn business [Sorry!.if it hurts you] is all over the web.
And these boys making those hubpages are so irritating.I actually know what is going in their mind while making those hubs.
Request:Please flag and rate down such hubs.In fact I've requested hubpages to consider making a rule of not making such hubpages.
Doesn't hurt me...I agree with you and Mutiny92, post the link and lets put an end to this villiany.
Great I've already started flagging and rating them down.i seriously hope Hubpage makes it a rule.Fingers crossed. : )
And oh,where are you putting those smilies from ?
Click on formatting tips below right hand corner, it will explain...scroll down.
Please don't flag them. You're only wasting people's time.
Flagging these Hubs won't result in a change of the rules. The HubPages team is well aware that the serious writers on HubPages don't like these Hubs, but they are NOT against Adsense rules so they will NOT be removed.
Rate them down, by all means. The only consolation is that while they get a lot of traffic, they earn very poorly.
Marisa is correct.
The Hubs aren't my cup of tea, but they meet Hubpages policy and tagging them is wasting Staff's time.
If it is actual porn, go ahead and flag. But bikini pics are not porn.
Marisa, they do get a lot of traffic. I was trying to pin down an incoming link to one of my Hubs that was educational. I found it on a site called something like 'besthubs' or whatever.
That link also included a bunch of Indian 'auntie' pics (like they accuse Limbaugh of having, lolol) and my hits on there were like two or three but the auntie hubs had like 6700. O.O
Somebody likes those. Going to guess this is a business decision by Hubpages. Clearly they get a lot of traffic; I had no idea until I saw those stats.
I didn't know bikini pics were porn !
I didn't know I was pornographic !
Not at all tantrum, you my dear are a modern work of art in photography.
I'm not saying they are porn. But hubs containing only bikini pics and sexually arousing hubs are polluting this area.See the replies and you'll know many people agree. And you are NOT PORN.
What a pity! I thought I might make some money out of it !
Well I believe everyone is trying to make some money maybe some are writing for fun ,but why sexy photos and especially actress sexy photos.
Because sexiness brings traffic. You know humans !
Did you want to say men here? tantrum huh.,.huh,
Sexiness has been overly eggagerated by television and hence it brings traffic. But sice you guys are just playing with peoples weakness you will falldown one day.
As far as I believe sex is supposed to be the most private and intimate moment of any respectable person. And tantrum please have no say further on this topic.
Excuse me ??!!
I post wherever I like.
If you don't like it don't read me! LOL
We're not falling anywhere, in case you want to know!
Thanks for the laughs !
Hey...hey, I was just kidding. I don't go for pornography never have I was more interested in the Battle Of The Sexes idiom.
No offense intended.
It's pretty simple...Sex sells!
If these hubs are in the proper category and not violating TOS I wouldn't really be too concerned by them, they have the right to post them if not in violation.
Back to those disgusting, obscene pic of stars in bikinis...what was that link again? Just to analyize...you know what Mutiny said.
You can find them on Entertainment. They're all there.
Heres the link [http://hubpages.com/hub/Mega-index-of-skmania-hot-hubsand] This guy has made 538 hubs .God knows how many of them are like the ones we are discussing.
I just finished a hub, painted a lot, posted on FB and now I'm having a break!
Stormy rainy day here
You have been busy. That's good that you have accomplished something. I have been playing guitar, went to a meeting, and playing on-line. You have mail.
bikini hubs aren't porn.
your profile isn't pornographic.
you can post all you want to whatever topic.
agreeing down the line with you this topic, my opinion, for the record. on the other side, guess she can post to whatever opinion she wants also.
you could post the link to the offending hub...I mean, not for any personal enjoyment (of course) - just for a more in depth analysis, you know.
I mean, er....to compare it to the ToS! ;-)
I'm not offended by bikini pictures but I would question if they have a place on this site if no words are added.
A picture of an actress in a bikini accompanied by an original biography is fine but a gallery of pictures 'borrowed' from the web seems pointless without words to explain the context.
I agree, mark them down!
I don't really care to be honest if you go to the beach or swimming pool you see bikini clad women everywhere. It's part of everyday life and I'm afraid we just have to get used to it. Time to get out of the dark ages and face reality!!
Some of the beaches I have been to around Europe are even a bit scarce on bikinis to be honest
I can live with bikini pictures. It's the ones that zero in on the crotch or the breasts alone that bother me.
I don't worry about them as long as they are not illegal, against TOS or anything else.
I wonder about copyright of the photographers though. You see the same pics over and and start to wonder who is ripping off who.
This particular topic has been discussed several time in the past.It is raelly waste of time on part of those hubbers who are averse to such hubs. HP staff is mute spectator to all this drama and witnessed rise and fall of hundreds of such bikni hubbers. They come here, earn revenue, get their accounts disabled or adsense account ban and disappear. Several top hubbers who opposed them lost their own adsense accounts due to revenged activity of bikni hubbers. It's very deeprooted conspiracy and there is nexus between several people/organization/companies. I'll advise all sincere hubbers to stay away from such conflicts and leave bikni hubbers to their own fate.

Hi,If you've cute pics of your pet on your hubs, can I have a look? Just reply and I'll go into your hubs and find them. My profile pic is of 'Banjo' my cat, named so because she sat on my knee when she was tiny. I hated cats but her granny, 'Donkey' turned up on my doorstep and adopted me one day...

I was just wondering, if you read a well written hub but it was something controversial that had a different opinion than you had, would you rate it thumbs down because of that or would you rate it on the hub itself ( written well, lots of information, good layout?)Just wondering because I write...

Often, we'll be reading Hubs to find a specific answer or solution to something in our lives. And often, we'll get to the end and be "too busy" to rate it. This is understandable; I do it too. Even though I know that by giving a Hub a Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down, I will be...

Dear HubTeam:I know there have been a few forum threads about this topic, but hear me out please. By the way, this thread refers to the rating down of hubs, not flagging. I have no problem with the flagging feature and see it as a necessary evil. Even if someone misuses it, they have to go through...
