Okay ... another oddity
I looked at my page views for the last 24 hours. An hour or two later, when I refreshed the page, that number went DOWN (by 2)?
How in the heck can that happen? Someone hit a rewind button on time and space, undoing their view of one of my hubs?
lol, the hub counter is a rolling 24 hours, not a calender date.
so perhaps from 1-2 pm yesterday you received 2 less visitors..
dont rely on hubs counter anyway...its all about analytics, use it !
the page views for the last 24 hours updates quite regularly, the 2 less would have moved over to the next column, the one for hits per week.
its a rolling 24 hours stats system, some sites have daily stats, which start at zero each day. But if you had 7 visitors in the 25th hour going backwards, and 5 visitors in teh last hour, it would be 2 less in the last 24 hours, when compared the 24 hour stats an hour ago, if that makes sense!
yes, it makes sense. In fact, it makes SO much sense, I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't realize it on my own. LOL
Thanks again guys.
Getting ready to post another question, if ya wanna help on that, too.
Hey Sunforged, don't take it personally, Shaz sees all men as women. She is a female dominate, therefore only women apply.
oops *blushes* I called mywebs a woman too! *40 lashes* - some people never learn *rolls eyes and tuts* Sorry sunforged. x
Don't worry Joshuina, your secret is safe with us.
I was just curious whether my recent post sharing the sex of my incoming min-sunforged has been read as me being pregnant? and therefore a lady?

I had to look twice at my stats today-I usually have around 60 to70 views/day-which is reasonable for my topics-because in the last 24 hours I've had 322! I am used to seeing lots of zeros next to my hubs, but it...

Just wondering if anyone can answer this question. My page views have been about 500 per day recently but my impressions are only 300 or so. Why the difference?

Why do I show 0 page views at Google Adsense, but 200 and some impressions. This doesn't make sense to me. Google Adsense never shows the same page views or impressions that I show elsewhere. Can anyone help me...

Over the past few weeks my page views have been substantially higher than they were before that, but strangely my earnings have actually been significantly lower. So when you work out the earnings per 1000 views it has...

I looked into my Analytics and it said I had an XXX amount of unique visitors(for this day). I am not sure if I am allowed to say how many(tell me if I am wrong), but I am extremely surprised how big the number was.(for...
