and I believe my overall score is an 8.
Ha, does this mean people were rating me down?

you started another thread that I responded to , you should delete one of them. Click on the link and it will explain the scoring system.
Welcome to HubPages, gotchanose no, we all started at the same point. As you write more Hubs, gain traffic through promotion, the score will rise. Do not fret.
Welcome!
Your hubs look great! When did you publish? Have you applied to Amazon.com yet? I also thought I should mention at least one of your hubs is missing a comments section.
Enjoy the experience, good luck!
Gotcha's going to need that explained, like me. Apply to Amazon.com?
Go to www.amazon.com and look for the affiliate link. I believe it is on the bottom of the main page. If not just look around a little bit and you will find it.
Go to my account
Under your settings marked 'My Accounts' is a tab button
click on the affiliates button once you are there you will see Amazon, EBay, Google, click on your Amazon and set up your account. Whenever you place products in your Amazon Capsule and others click and purchase you can get paid a percentage of from that sale.
Welcome to HubPages!
Just to let you know you are in the Extreme Hub Makeover Forum thread....you can post links.
I have posted them below....
http://hubpages.com/hub/My-Thoughts-on-Cannibalism
http://hubpages.com/hub/Murder-for-Fun
http://hubpages.com/hub/My-thoughts-on-death
I'm off to check them out.
There are at least two missing comment sections. Otherwise, they look good. You could probably tweak a few things, but overall they look good.
Interesting topics too.... Good luck.
I will answer on this one as AEvans has suggested you delete the other.
I wonder if it's because you keep posting your own hublinks in the forum. You have been doing it a lot. You have not really posted anything to discuss. It might be taken as self promotion.
If you have also posted your hublinks in the comments sections of other's hubs that would bring your score down too. Just guessing because it does seem odd with your hub scores.
i didnt post my hub links in comments. and I dont know how to delete a post. >.<
if someone told me how to delete them I would but I haven't seen ANY delete button.
Go under your post and where it says reply more click on more. You can delete from there. It won't get rid of the post but people will be less likely to answer it. It will make it easier to keep track of when people are replying to you.

Just in the past 10 minutes or so I've already gotten 3 spam comments, all on the same hub! And whenever I delete one, it seems another immediately comes up!I'm sure that when I wake up tomorrow (it's almost 1 in the morning now) I'll have many more to delete. Ugh, is there a way to stop these spam...

So I've deleted all of the idled hubs so far and am wondering when I will have none left. I'm not going to edit anymore until I see some sort of improvement in traffic. Too much trouble for no results at all. With all of the scrapers and with HP's brilliant program I'll soon have...

I haven't been on Hubpages for a very long time, in fact years! Now I want to get started again. Surprisingly my remaining hubs (only 2 still active?) continue to produce a dollar or two every month.Should I:1. Delete everything and start from scratch?2. Delete everything but the 2 top hubs?3....

I'm reading an awful lot about Hubpages at the moment and while a lot of it is going in, not everything is and I'm certainly not very good at being able to reference back to where I read it. Frankly it's all very new!One thing which concerns me is fan mail. I've got a vague recollection of reading...

In the past few days, I've been getting racist comments left by "visitors" - people who leave comments but aren't members of HP. For the most part, these remarks are combined with anti-police remarks and being left on my law enforcement and crime hubs; however, one or two have been left...

Why would anyone delete a comment on their hub?If I deleted a comment on one of my hubs, I would figure I am not good at dealing with people who might disagree with me. People can agree or disagree, it's a free world. If the comment was mean or nasty, well I'm not the one looking bad,...
