Im feeling sad for a few reasons today, trying to find a way through the day or night so it seems... so think of something light and bright and cheerful and just see if something good can come to mind
I see trees of green,
skys of blue,
white clouds and......
and I think to myself, what a wonderful world.
that is a beautiful song, beautiful images.
salt, sometimes we all feel a sadness for different reasons. I remember one time feeling very sad about something that had happened in my life and then something happened. I accepted the emotion, surrendered to it and felt it almost as something separate from me, like a disturbance that would soon pass. I hope your sadness will pass also.
nature is always very healing and uplifting for me as well.
happiness in a tiny flower petal or a dancing new leaf on a tree.
a beautiful bird soaring above us.
what a wonderful world
i felt sad last night. that's why i started the needing a laugh thread.
that made me feel better just to know that someone was listening to me even if it was just through forums.
most of the time when i'm down i just watch my cat try to get my bird. she was sleeping last night though.
i hope i was able to cheer you up a little bit. the people that posted for me sure did.
other times when i'm down i sit and watch my collections of jerry lewis and dean martin. that's a very old show but i love it anyway. along with red skelton and jack benny. i could go on for days. perhaps you might want to check out some of these old shows. they really make me laugh when i need it most. hope this finds you at least with a smile if not you can have mine.
From Life is Beautiful by Sixx AM
This song always makes me feel better when I am down.
You can’t quit until you try
You can’t live until you die
You can’t learn to tell the truth
Until you learn to lie
You can’t breathe until you choke
You gotta laugh when you’re the joke
There’s nothing like a funeral to make you feel alive
Just open your eyes
Just open your eyes
And see that life is beautiful.
Will you swear on your life,
That no one will cry at my funeral?

From any given point in my life, the future has always been 'dark' with apocalypes, conspiracies and even alien invasions. And, if any of those things didn't get us - we would surely annihilate ourselves because humans...
