Dreaming of a World Future... Where would you like to see humanity go?
From any given point in my life, the future has always been 'dark' with apocalypes, conspiracies and even alien invasions. And, if any of those things didn't get us - we would surely annihilate ourselves because humans are supposedly 'wired' that way or whatever.
But, what if our wildest dreams about the future could come true? How would you like to see your children or grandchildren experiencing life differently and/or better than you did? If anything could happen, what would you like it to be? Have you thought of new ideas or discovered ways and/or new technologies maybe that could make your vision possible? Let's explore the flip side of this question for a change.
There are many obvious things that come to mind that I would like to change: world hunger, world peace, etc. But, the thing that really comes to the top is - I would love to see the way the media is allowed to bombard people with hype (simply to make an extra almighty dollar) to mature into a more constructive medium to get information across to people.
Creativity and honest reporting can go a long way, but it is the belief that people won't respond to 'the truth' as well. But, media has never tried that approach - they have always had to claw for profits like every other industry. The difference is, they get to do it based on things like 'free speech' and 'free press' when those things were put into place to protect the truth about absolutely everything - not give a licence to free-insult anyone they choose to make money off of.
I'd like to see some way created where maybe the media monitors itself among its peers - and calls each other out on erroneous and/or inappropriate reporting. I'd also like to see things like 'gossip' magazines have to name their sources.
While this doesn't seem like a big deal to most people, the media is the reason for the majority of the deep divisions in our world. They create hype and we choose sides. If they were held more accountable, mankind might become more 'objective'.

We're not very good at being 'gods' yet. Most of us either practice too much or not enough, ha! I really didn't mean for this question to turn to religion; but it is probably inevitable - especially with Norine in the picture; and this has been an ongoing discussion between us...
Jesus also said that the Kingdom of God is within... That means that it has been here since the dawn of mankind; and it has been slowly developing for ages THROUGH us via our 'christos' which is the KoG within - also known as our battery or lifeforce.
Yes, we humans CAN do anything we can convince ourselves to believe in - like walk on burning coals - no 'belief in a God' is necessary for that. Jesus came to show people how to live in this life apart from the bondage of paganism & poverty 'as a god' (like when he was teaching Peter to walk on water); not to 'do for us' things that we can't do for ourselves. To rise above the chaos to create heaven on earth.
This gift of human life is simply meant for us to create a fulfilling physical existence beyond our non-physical one - AND, it is all for US, not God. Not that God doesn't get anything out of our existence here. Its a long dang story. Read my hub if you're really curious.
In our current timeline, humanity is supposedly the most spiritually-advanced than we have ever been - despite that we have been more technologically advanced in the past. It is the reason why we have practically destroyed ourselves on more than one occassion. Hopefully, we are coming into a balance between the two where a great future for everyone continues to be possible.
I just thought it would be a nice change of pace to think of a future so bright - we gotta wear shades!
