I just sent my latest hub to my followers. I'm wondering if the daily mails will still send out hubs to our followers... Does anyone know how this works?
It has nothing to do with email. It shares the hub with your followers in the feed. You can use it on any hub that you find interesting. However, there is no need to share your own newly published hubs since those will be in your follower's feeds already.
rebekah, I'm not sure what new way you mean, but I did get the usual email about your latest hub... sorry, haven't gotten round to reading it yet though...!
ok, I probably didn't notice it before. I like it also. I guess it gets sent like a regular email notice.
I wonder if that means the regular "Hubs by your favorites" will be stopping?
IDK, but I think the daily mails only have a certain amount of hubs, they don't have a hub for each follower. that would be cumbersome!
I think with the 'share it with followers' function in the hub, we can make sure it gets sent to all of our followers. although some probably wouldn't like that as it goes back to a lot of mails being received if everyone uses it.
good point I have not seen it yet as I have not done a new Hub in awhile but I guess they will come along and explain it sooner or later.

Wondering where we stand with regard to a new accolade for having more than 5 EC hubs or even a way for people to see this special distinction publicly on our hubs. Right now, we are the only ones who can see it - on our account statistics. I'm tempted to opt out at this point. Is there anyone else...
