I wrote a hub about a year ago about how my husband discovered electronic cigarettes. It has made a tremendous difference in our lives and he's much healthier for making the switch from smoking cigarettes to vaping e-cigs.
It's even one of the things that helped Dale M. make the switch to becoming a non-smoker.
E-cigarettes are helping so many people quit or reduce their habit.
My husband has entered a photo contest on one of the e-cig websites that we purchase products from. He's one of 8 finalists in the contest. It would mean a lot to me (and him!) if you would take a minute and vote. There doesn't seem to be a stated limit to how many times you can vote although they may have a way to limit one per ISP address or something, I don't know.
This is the site: http://www.cigtechs.com/Photo-Contest-33.html
He's photo #7. The "Vape" is written with the blue LED light of the e-cig using a slow shutter speed on his camera. It's a pretty cool effect. That's him sitting there with the blue LED showing as he's inhaling the vapor.
Thank you in advance for your vote! If he wins, he wins $75 in products from them.
Oh...almost forgot....winners will be announced June 3rd so this is a very short contest.
C'mon gang, throw us some votes as often as you can between now and June 3rd. I just found out from the site owner that there is no limit to how many times you can vote.
Just for haha's I clicked the link and voted for #7.
If it helps, it helps. Good luck on it.
Just went and clicked on it. there is a message that keeps coming up at the bottom right of the screen say 'offline at the moment' so not sure if it worked but I think it did.
Thanks gang! The little "offline message" that comes up is just their instant messaging feature. I actually got to speak to the site owner through that earlier. He saw me voting repeatedly and spoke to me. That's when I asked if that was ok to do. He said yes. I told him I had shared the link with HubPages and Facebook and hoped to have friends and family chiming in instead of me sitting there voting over and over for us. LOL
Thank you guys for helping out. We have a decent shot at winning this. Even if we come in 3rd he wins so much in products from them.
I voted! I have been on the e-cigs too. The only thing that got me through getting off of the real thing. Food tastes better, I quit coughing right off. They are amazing!
I hope you all win! That would be great!
Thank you so much too, Faybe! E-cigs are a life-saver! Glad they helped you too! Congrats!
Since this contest ends in only a few days, we need all your votes. They have added a 9th entry since I first posted this. So, my husband is one of 9 finalists. He's number 7! Please take a moment and click on the link to cast your vote for number #7. It's the dark one with "Vape" written with the LED light.
They will announce the winners on June 3rd. Not much time left to vote. You can vote multiple times. Please take moment to vote for #7!
Thanks MyOwnWorld and Emievil!!! On Saturday, when I first voted, it was voting repeatedly. The site owner was online and sent me an instant message and we struck up a conversation. I asked him if there was a limit to how many times you can vote. He said no. He had seen me voting repeatedly only seconds apart. So, it seems you can vote non-stop. LOL
Sorry to bump my own thread, but since they say they are announcing the winners June 3rd, I'm assuming the last day to vote is today. We need your vote! Click on the link and vote for #7 as many times as you'd like. We greatly appreciate it.
Thank you so very much Money Glitch! I'll report back after they announce the winners. It should be tomorrow.
Hey gang, I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU!!! to everyone who helped us out in the voting on cigtechs.com's photo contest. My husband won!! We couldn't have done it without you. If you'll notice, the difference between us and second place is 25 votes!
Again, I thank you, and my husband definitely thanks you!
