You all know her. You all love her upbeat, positive ways.
Amy Jane needs our help, hubbers. She's in an important contest. The prize - a six month gig @ $5,000 per month blogging job.
This is only the first part of the process. If Amy Jane gets into the top 20 (or should I say when), she goes to the next level and she'll need our votes then, too.
I'll let her tell you herself: http://hubpages.com/hub/Help-Me-Land-a-Blogging-Job
After you've read the details, don't forget to skip on over to Sam-E and cast your vote! In fact, why not do it right now so you don't forget.
Amy Jane's got the talent and the required light-hearted writing style, all she needs is our support.
C'mon, hubbers! It'll only take a minute and it'll help so much.
I voted, this world needs more positive voices being heard the negativity is starting to become thick and gloomy.
Voted and I wish that good looking blondie well!!! go Amy go!!!
Yay! Thanks you guys!
Last I read, Amy was getting close to where she needs to be. A few more will come in, hopefully. There are thousands of hubbers, so we should be able to do that, I think.
Voted, but the link to her hub is no longer working and says the page cannot be found, however the voting site is working, so not a problem there.
Yikes, Cindy! I don't know what happened, maybe Amy Jane is doing something to the hub. Thanks for letting me know.
Thanks for helping Amy Jane get closer to getting her job, Cindy and Jimmy!
The hub link is working now.
Yay, Lynne! Thanks for helping us get Amy Jane this assignment.
Oh my gosh you guys! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! And Shirley, you are the best!
I went out for a bit to take my kids to dance class and came back to a much higher score - I was wondering what was going on... Of all my social networks and online buddies, my hubber friends are truly the most supportive! I am so grateful.
At this moment, I'm #20. I need to stay in the top 20 to make it to the final round so please keep voting!
I voted for you, amy jane. I took a looksy at your writing style, think you definitely deserve the position. Good luck.
Done, Shirley. Good luck Amy Jane! And it looks like we're (almost) neighbors. I'm in CT as well!
I voted last night but I don't have any social networking accounts, I'm afraid.
I just have a feeling that Amy Jane will make it to the top 20, easy!
Go get em Amy Jane!
I put a request on my facebook and twitter to get my friends to vote for you too.
C/mon guys, this is a great opportunity to do something practical for a great hubber.
I voted and posted voting info in my facebook page and twitter account.
GO AMY JANE!!!
Amen to that, Earnest!
I love that one of our own has this kind of opportunity.
Thanks for helping, everyone!
I thought about it for 2 seconds, then remembered the same thing about myself. So I decided to appoint myself Amy Jane's campaign manager.
I'm so disallusioned. That smile never goes away in your avatar!
But alack and alas, I'm much the same way...
I read her little blog and voted for her instantly. I like her style. Hope she gets it.
You guys are so sweet. Reading this thread makes me feel so loved!I'm so touched that you all would go so far to help me. For the record, I can't keep a smile on my face all the time either though...but I do keep trying! I will try not to let you guys down! I know everyone always says this, but the HubPages community is amazing. I'm not always able to keep up with everything here, but whenever I do come by, I am very aware of what I'm missing by not being here more. And I do always support hubbers "on the outside" (like twitter, digg and SU).
Shirley, you are a terrific campaign manager! I think the voting continues until to the 20th - I'll have to check. I hope I can keep up the pace. You've accomplished more in the past few hours than I have in the last two days!
Thanks, Amy Jane, glad to help. We'll do what we can to spread the word and keep those votes coming in.
It's midnight, EST. The vote count is now at 93! That's more than double what it was 24 hours ago.
I predict a win for Amy Jane!
Thanks again everyone! At last check I was 97...I'm trailing the top 20 by just a few votes. Thanks for the support!
Voted and good luck Amy - your avatar alone screams 'good mood'!
Voted i am your 119, You go girl.
Anything for the hub spirit. I hope you make it and we can have a party in the hangout.
Thanks everybody! I'm currently tied for 18th with 121 votes. Thanks for the support!
I just voted and you're up to 137 votes. Good luck Amy Jane!
OK, I am number 141, next! anything to help a fellow hubber, and she's cute too.
Thanks again everyone! I'm at 146 now - I think I'm 21st (need to be in the top 20) but I'm working on it...According to the rules, you're allowed to vote once a day.
Hubber support is incredible.
Sorry Amy, I tried to vote once again, and it told me I am not allowed.
Okay, I lied. It let me this time but it wouldn't last night when I tried it. Must go by 24 hour period of time.
I was #151.
Here's an update on Amy's status Shirley, when I voted #223, Amy has moved from 20th place to 13th place, she is only 16 votes away from being in twelth place! Keep voting friendhubbers! It sounds like it really means lot to her, and wow, the money is good too! Let's all help Amy get that well deserved interview!
