    it's a beautiful day today, so I'm off for a bike ride...need to let go of how my week went....

          I didn't realize he was still performing - I googled him and see that he is around on the net.  I haven't been using the internet for personal reasons for very long - use the net way too much for work reasons..so just haven't really looked around for other reasons.  My only memory of him was when you'd see him on the tube (music channels) and some radio - I thought I wasn't aware of what he was up to because I don't watch much TV - but it looks like its due to my internet usage.

    ...waiting to determine whether or not I need to fly into Florida tonight or tomorrow....family member (from Canada) was in a bad motorcycle accident about 6 hours ago...and I've been in touch every few hours to see how things are going and they seem to keep changing each time we talk...sounds worse each time...so biding my time here for a bit; for now ...they are alone right now...checked out flights etc., it's difficult when the other person says they are okay, but I know they are not...so......and it'll probably take a full day to get there...

        thanks for that....still deciding what to do...might be better for family a bit closer (as the crow flies north of Florida (USA) ) to fly in...will decide in the next few hours whether or not it's me....

          ..well someone else flew in (closer)...my job - well today I dealt with the insurance part - writing off the bike for insurance purposes rather than having it shipped back to Canada and then writing it off.  In the same stretch of road yesterday - a few hours later, 4 other bikes were in another crash - hmmmm....must be something about that spot.  Anyway my family member is going to be okay - pretty battered up though....will fly back to Canada sometime later this week.
