The voices, they talk to me...

   I have always maintained that everyone has a running commentary idly mocking them in the back of their head, but no one ever believes it...
   
   If you don't believe it either they why is the voice in your head wondering how long you can wait until you report this thread and help the hubpages staff get me the help I need?
   
   So, this topic is dedicated to the unsung hero in all our lives, the inner voice.
   
   Simply say what is on its mind at any given time.
   
   "I wonder how long this topic will last?"

   I think I picked you up as a hitchhiker a couple of years back.. conversation went along the following lines..
   
   "Where are you going"... "March",
   
   "That's ok, me too, hop in".... silence for a few mins as I drive..
   
   "I look at the stars.." .... "really, are you an astronomer?"
   
   "They call to me"..... "ugh,,,???"
   
   "I hear voices..... voices in my head telling me to do things"
   
   "I don't ALWAYS do what they tell me.."..... "really?"
   
   "they gave me tablets but I don't take them any more.."
   
   
   At this point I had to pull over and explain that I had forgotten something at work and had to drive back, wishing him luck in getting his ride...
   
   Oh, my inner voice is telling me that I am meant to be talking about my inner voice.. not his..
   
   True story by the way... I still pick up every hitchhiker I see..
