I have hubits disease, everything I see I think HUBIT!
Every thought I have I think HUBIT!
Has anyone else ever suffered this disease and do you know of a cure?
Hi Katie, the solution is to HUBIT more, thats the way I do it!
Thanks darkhorse, Isn't it amazing? Is there anything you can bring to mind without thinking HUBIT?
maybe the three letter word begins with S, or when I am watching football NFL or LA celtics game
thats what I was going to say. HUBIT!!! you will feel better
Perhaps, then, Pres. Sarkozy suffers from Hobbit's disease?
I would prefer your mallady than Sarkozy's. Yours is a happier plight, so I offer my congrats!
Is this contagious. Can I catch it by reading your profile and or hubs? I would love to have this disease.
Yes it is contagious and you will catch it by reading a bit over at my lil hubitville do check it out... Here's to you catching it!
Good morning/afternoon Katie. Do I have the disease? No. If I did, then I would be like an adult with ADHD on Crack, and my hubs would in the thousands, and the titles would be all over the place.
There would be so many short hubs with random thoughts and absurd trains of thought, people would come to the hubs because they would love the comedy derived from it.
However, since I don't have thousands of hubs, with various topic choices available, then I do not suffer from the disease.
I have it, too - for the last 10 months or so! Too funny, Katie!
My family thinks I'm crazy because we'll go somewhere or have a conversation about something and I'm always saying, "Hey, I should write a hub about it!"
At least this disease I can control if need be and it makes me money, unlike my last disease (cancer)!
I caught it also on Dec. 30, 2008. Still here, no cure. Sorry Katie.
I disagree. Forumitus is more debilitating, even though it can cure Hubits.
A mild case of Hubit is survivable. Some of the affected go on to live relatively normal, happy and productive lives.
I'll agree. The forementioned is surely a temporary treatment for hubit.
I started the 30 day challenge when I caught Hubit, however I now appear to have forumitis which has cured my hubit....
I have a related disease called A.R.D.S. (AdSense Revenue Deficiency Syndrome).
I have been suffering from it for over 11 months.
Symptoms are poverty and lack of page impressions
Well, instead of seeing your A.R.D.S. as a negative thing, maybe you should investigate further the disease of Hubit, by avoiding forumitis. It might actually help your A.R.D.S.
HaHa! That's comedy for you. Personally I would miss your pithy posts.
Sorry, it was my feeble attempt to provoke old Greeky. Pith is the essential point of an argument. It's also a rude word if you have a lisp.
I can't get this pithy thing outta my head now I'm hearing it with the lisp...
Hey Katie, I guess the "politic" of political correctness has remained. People are learning how to spin almost any topic and turn to their advantage, which completely distorts truth.
It's a shame.
The only solution katie is a blindfold. Stockings, old rags, bandanas all work well.
I have terrible news.
It is terminal.
I suggest you make your peace.
Try LoveIt instead
switches the thinking as far as I can tell
And here all this time I was thinking HUBIT was a unit of measure.........

Does anyone know if htere is a way to back up all my hubs in one go?If, as I think might be the case, I quit hubpages because to be frank all that stuff when you go to create a new hub is hugely overwhelming - take my poem, for instance, just went to publish a poem - just a simple poem and all that...

I recieved an email from a hubber who said she was 13 years old. It wasn't asking for help or anything...it was trying to make friends. I forwarded it to the Hub Team because I don't think 13-year-old girls should be writing to adults on the internet.has anyone else gotten anything like this and if...

Maddie, I hope you are reading this, or whomever that can help.I have posted almost 150 Hubs...and if you are reading this, you know that takes time, energy, and effort. I had these hubs split among a few accounts. One day all my accounts were no longer posted, and I could not post...

I just found the HubPages Directory and naturally, looked for my name. It says that authors must have published hubs to be listed there but I can't find my name. How do we get added?

As per the advice of many Hubbers I’ve tried to sign up on Shetoldme, but can’t seem to find their sign up button / page anywhere. A while ago I saw another Hubber comment on experiencing the same problem. Does anyone know what’s going on there? Thanks to all.

I was surprised when I heard from Scott Life that he had some hubs stolen and he did not think that Hubpages did enough to resolve this. This got me wondering if other people here had a similar problem. Thanks for any input for I would hater to find out about this the wrong way!
