I've signed up on hubpages recently and have published two hubs. I recently found that I had two new followers - but that both had been banned from the site. The one that still shows on my page is lgqg.
Would like to know what the problem was. Both had joined just a couple of days ago. Could someone explain?
Hi maliniriver - welcome! There seems to have been a spate of new users using some kind of automated following software and I suspect it's these ones that have been banned. The HP community is very hot on anything spam.
Thanks so much for your reply. That was very quick!! As I said, although both have been banned, lgqg still shows as a follower on my page. Guess I'll have to see what happens next!

Have you been banned from the HP forums? If so - please drop me a line with the reasons (usually insulting some one) and I plan a hub with a list of my favorite names called.
