   Wow, what a year. lol It does not seem like it has been a year already, only more like several months.
   
   My first year has been very interesting here. I have learned TONS from other writers here and my hubs (I believe) are showing that with the more I write.
   
   I have met very interesting people from all over. I agree and disagree with opinions, but...I still respect everyone's right to their personal opinion.
   It is so hard to really understand where a person is coming from "Online" when you cannot see the facial expression,body movement or hear a voice tone from those you communicate with in the forums.
   
   HP Staff....Shout out to You!!! You have been wonderful and amazing with answers, help and I appreciate everything you guys and ladies do to allow us the members of HP to have this setting to write our articles, make 'some money' and meet people.
   
   I have met some wonderful people here, some I do not like, but...that is the internet! So is life. I enjoy the interaction I have with people I know here. I am not of the "popular group", but that is OK. I did not sign up for that with HP, I signed up to write and learn from other writers.
   
   There is no way I could possibly list names. I would leave someone out and then feel guilty about that. Thanks to everyone...you know who you are.
   
   SO...After 1 year, I am so glad I signed up to Hubpages!!!
   
   I look forward to another year and many more hubs to write and learning even more from everyone to help me as a writer.
   
   Now...if I ever learn how to make the money some people do here...lol  But, my main objective has been and will be the writing first.

            Well... 2nd replacement computer. hard drive went bad after 2 hours of powering up.  Replaced!   THEN...3 hours later...motherboard fried. The computer got so hot I couldn't touch it.   LOLOL...Now...waiting on a motherboard.
            
            BUT...a phrase I live by..."Life is what you make of it!"  I extended my warranty with Dell for 2 more years. May have them here at my house weekly for the next 2 years. lol
            Hey...if you can't laugh at a problem and survive it...then what is the point. I will "finally" have a computer that works right...even if I have to by another Brand!

               At least you are getting good use out of the warranty on the machine. Because, from a business standpoint, warranties are a gimmick to boost profits.
               
               However, sometimes it bites the company. With the lower quality of units continue to make it to the market place, and the company made money from the warranties, could possibly lose money in the process.
               
               I'm amazed at the problem you have had to go through. With technology where it is today, and for you to have as many problems as you have, it's ridiculous. I'm glad you can laugh at it. Good to know.

                  Congratulations on your big year! And I know what computers are like.... I fry one yearly on average. So is your second year going to be twice as big?

                  Sometimes a "laugh" when you should be angry helps. It does me anyways. There is no material object worth causing me harm from blood pressure.  There are many things in life that fall into that category.
                  I find it better to just vent out and then deal with it.

   Another good point about HP....You can vent frustrations. lol You find people with similar situations or those who understand and encourage you. Or...laugh with you. Even a laugh at you can be a good thing at times. lolol
