a new funny, FOR ME!  Thank you, SOOOOOO MUCH!  Today I plan on laughing all day, no matter what.

cat's are the best no matter where you find them - but dogs are ok in some special circumstances!

Can you recommend any good cat comics?

there's a strip called "Mutts" which has a little cat who is always playing with her "little pink sock"  for some reason I find them delightful!  Earl, Mooch etc.  They're all funny in this one.

now I'm all distracted, what was I gonna do today?  Thinking about cat cartoons and how they often make cats seem just mean or always hungry - except for Mutts, where the dog and cat are always just awfully cute, like people you would really want for friends.  And Earl, the human guy, is pretty funny also - not mean, any of em

What about "Get Fuzzy" - a dog, a cat and friends, ferrets, and a Canadian owner?  Currently in a series about the cat's take on soccer.  Really hilarious. I don't know how to post pics and cartoons in forum posts, or I would include one.

I feel totally inept because I cannot figure out how to post pics in the forums, but here is a link to one of my all-time faves:

Thanks for this, but I've tried everything and every way. I'm on a mac. I wonder if that makes a difference???

[sigh...] But I'll keep trying things anyway.

it shouldn't make a difference, Daniel. are you trying to post an image? after you enter

if you find an image you want to post, try right clicking on it first and click 'open image in new window' or 'view image', then go to Edit and copy and paste that URL from the address box. hope this helps.   Or if you do a google search and find an image, click See Full Size Image and copy and paste the URL.

there may be others ways, but that's how i do it.

    Thanks, mega1, I'll try this. -

EDIT (update) - It didn't work with the link I used.  Are there certain types of links that don't work?  Or did I react too soon?  When this (current) post showed up, it only had the letters spelling out the URL, with following.  Does it take a moment to load the actual image?

mega1posted 13 years agoin reply to this

yes it takes a moment to load usually, and yes, some urls won't work - to find out if your image will post do this:

when you right click on the image and then click on PROPERTIES you see the url - but right above it (or somewhere around there) it will tell you if it is a JPG.img -  meaning it is the right format - anything else won't work I think has to be a JPG.  Then you copy the url there (not at the top of your browser) and paste it in the reply box with the   - see if that doesn't work for ya!

Trying again - I was away for a little bit.  [I really get a charge out of learning new things. big_smile ]

Woo-hoo!!  I think I got it!  Hey, Daniel, if I can do it, you can too.  I'm sure some mac users will come along and help you figure out something, if that is the issue.  [Did you try what it said in the second post about this from mega1? - the one below the horse comic?]
