I am not seeing a place for photo credit on the photo capsule.  I looked at this forum, but it is over 6 months old:  http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/31024

Has there been any changes.  On Suite 101, you have a place to put the link.  Is this not possible?  So, how do we give credit?  Even if it is commercial or on Flickr, I still like to give credit.  Plus, it looks silly to have a website under the photo, I think.  Is there a hover option or anything?  What am I missing?

No, there isn't a place to give credit under the photo capsule.  You can use a caption but it's not a hyperlink, and for Creative Commons you should make the link live, so the caption's not really suitable.

I suspect the reason they don't make the caption live is that some people would try to use a photo/link combination to place affiliate links.

I always put my photo credits at the end of the Hub, before the comments.  You could put a text or link capsule under the photo if you prefer.

I'm assuming you know you can't use just any old photo from Flickr, only the ones you find using the Advanced Search and tick "creative commons" and "for commercial use".  Then you must credit the photographer, preferably with a hyperlink to their photostream.

I wonder if perhaps you could use the space allotted for a caption to serve that purpose?  I did that with a couple of public domain photos I used...

      Use a Text Capsule.

If you've aligned your photo capsule to the right, just stick a Text Capsule underneath it. Tuck it up under there, and put in the copyright details and hyperlink the photographers name.

Thanks all for the response!  I guess I will look for commercial use only!
