It's small but effective in my experiences. Make your first paragraph long, as if it's long enough, a second ad unit will show up next to it, making for 2 ad units at the top instead of just 1.
Yep, text only and use the preview function to see when the second ad unit appears. When it does its time to go onto the next capsule. You can start adding your pictures from this point on without them getting in the way of the extra ad unit.
Great tip, I'm going to try that... of course, no more traffic than what i get... lol...not sure it will matter.

Yes, this is the best way to earn off adsense - the top right corner slot is shown to have the highest CTR.
That's why it's best to avoid putting a picture immediately top right and instead move it down the page.
