I have been trying to add photos to a new hub I am writing from my computer.
I have done it in the past with no problem, and usually only took a few minutes.
However now, it asks as though it is loading and even brings up the little thumbnail before you save it. But it continues to keep trying to load, and it will not save.
I thought I was just being impatient so last night I gave it more time, over an hour and it still wouldn't finish.
Just wondering If any of you knew possible reasons.
I used a digital camera, set at only 3 megapix. And all photos look fine on computer.
From my squirrelly editor hub:
..."First, click the Reorder Now button. Let it process. This untangles and cleans up everything that the application was trying to keep track of; as well as making more computer memory available. This first step alone usually solves the problem."...
Thanks so much for your anwer, It worked I never realized I was probably doing this before with other hubs, but for some reason didn't with this one.
Thanks now I can breathe. Sorry I had to ask on forum I searched in forums and answers first but couldn't find what I was looking for.
Guess I should have search in hubs too.
Anyway thank you very much.
PS: Paradigmsearch, please don't follow me because I said that. I am not going to follow you back, and you will end up de-fanning me again - as you have already done 3 times with clockwork regularity. It is too obvious. People generally come here to exchange knowledge and seek help, not for a flirt.
Sorry about the house cleaning. When I follow someone and they don’t follow me back, I take them at their word and go away. What with my ankle bracelet I have to be careful about such things.
PS Was definitely not flirting with you; I thought you were a guy. I’m strictly heterosexual.
This is a common, intermittent problem when using IE as a browser. If you haven't already, try switching to Firefox. It's a free download and much superior.
No offense taken, I hope you will get hundreds of loyal followers who genuinely care about your writing and advice here in the forums. "Flirt" was not meant in the literal sense, and of course I never literally took it as such. Bon voyage.
All is well in HP land.
Now, if someone could just tell me tomorrow’s lottery numbers…
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.....67,68,68,70....you get the idea. Just pick them out!
Thanks for this important information on how to get a photo to upload.
Diane Inside-I had the same problem a few times and eventually 'caught on' to the routine of clicking on the photo button, scrolling down to hit reorder and proceeding from there.

I just gave up trying to add a photo to a new hub I am creating. When I got to the upload stage nothing happened. I tried several times and deleting the module and starting again but still no joy! Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

This morning I'm having trouble adding photos while editing hubs. Is this a new problem or is it just a fluke that will correct itself?

I just added an external link to a comment in hopes of helping the reader. I now find out this will make my hub a 'no-follow.' How can I correct this?

I pretty much thought that this went out of fashon about 6 or 7 years ago. However over the last week, I have seen several people operate on the basis that if they add you, then you must add them. Someone has just also written that in their profile - that s/he will add whoever adds him/her.So...

Like probably most of us, I have thousands of images I took myself that would be useful in hubs. Not necessarily my own, as I have more photos than I could possibly use.Instead of all of us having to go searching for images on the web we can legally use, what about have our very own Hubpages gallery...
