If you had a choice to bring someone of historical significance from the past into the present time, who would you pick? What would you do with them?

I would bring back Beethoven (prior to his deafness) and take him to a Rock concert.  wink I think he'll appreciate it.

@ Klarawieck - That's a good one.  I'd love to see him in the mosh pit.lol
I gotta serious one.  Duncan Edwards, a footballer from my home town that played for Man Utd and England.  He died as a result of the Munich air disaster in 1958.  I'd take him to Old Trafford to watch Man Utd thrash Chelsea.

About Beethoven- seriously, I have this fantasy that I'm driving in my car listening to Dragula - Rob Zombie and he (Beethoven) appears seated in the backseat of my car fixing his hair and frowning as he becomes disturbed by what he hears. LOL

I know.... I know... I'm a little out there! LOL

lol. I think we could convert him.  Get him headbanging to KISS.  I wonder which member he would dress up like?

I was gonna say Thomas Jefferson, cause I think he'd be real interested in everything. He was a forward thinker and an inventor, so I think he'd find our modern world fascinating. Did you know he invented the first copy machine?

But then I realized that he'd also be disgusted, saddened and disappointed by what we've become. His worst fears for this country have become practically if not completely realized.

But then, it's not like he wasn't a wise man who had to deal with idiocy in his own time as well.

Still, I think the shock of discovering that Texas has shunned him in favor of John Calvin might be too much for his reincarnation, and it might just kill him!

    So yeh, I guess not.

You don't want to go down in history as the one who caused Thomas Jefferson to die (a second time) from a heart attack.

Have him invent whatever he could using the technology of today and give me his insights to what the future may hold.
