After reading many different testimonials considering the adsense program. It seems that many people have been banned from Google adsense and they don't seem to know why! I was just wondering if this has happened to any of the hubbers here.

People that create "made for adsense" sites often are the ones who lose their accounts. They will create hundreds of one page sites that are optimized for a keyword. A site is very thin in content and loaded with ads near the top. Others lose their accounts because they don't have a privacy policy with the DART disclosure. A lot of others just don't read the terms of the Adsense program and therefore, lose their account for not following the rules.

When you sign-up for the AdSense program, part of the user agreement states that you agree and affirm that you have read the Terms Of Use, and that you understand the rules and agree to abide by them.  Sadly, there are a lot of people who decide to apply for AdSense who never bother to read the rules and user agreements, and thus are completely ignorant of what actions and quality levels will result in being dropped from the program despite the fact that by joining the program they are legally bound to adhere to them.

In a nutshell, this statement is precisely spot-on.

Reading the adsense ToS is important.

Google wants quality sites that aren't spammy, are easy to understand (not spun) and has strict rules on things like guns and sex mentioned on pages. You also are not allowed to be involved in any form of click fraud (such as clicking your own adverts or encouraging others to click them.) If people are silly enough to sign up for an account without knowing the rules, then if they get banned, it's their own fault.

A lot of good answers here.  The truth of the matter is that you do not get banned from adsense if you follow the rules.

The most common reason for being banned from adsense is because people think they will get away with clicking their own ads.

Google always rejecting me for ToS violation.I am very confused.I extremely violated some rules first up as i didn't understand tagging rules and also copied some content since i thought i am here to gather all my favorite writings in my account from other places rather than writing own content but now i m ok with all my hubs.Still i am not accepted.I don't know if i am already banned or Google want me to wait 6month as i am from south Asia. They always reject me saying unacceptable site content though i don't have any copyright violated hub now.
