I have been working hard putting together a new hub that I just posted.
I am looking for any tips on what I could improve.
Thanks in advance!
Kudos! I think you've done a really good job.
I would caution against putting a photo at the top of a hub or flush with the first text capsule, as it detracts from the prime AdSense space (if you're here to make money, that is).
Outside of that, job well done!
You did a nice job on the hub. It looks great.
I would suggest that same thing Irohner suggested.
The picture at the top, should be moved down to at least the second text capsule.
The prime real-estate for google adsense ads are at the top of the hub, next to the first text capsule. To optimize space, make your secondary text capsule, just large enough or filled enough with text to go along side a picture. Thus, it will open up more ad spaces after your second capsule.
Otherwise, I would only suggest using more text capsules, so as to improve your layout. The video should always be below the text capsule talking about the video and what's was in it. The text capsule should give them(the reader) an idea of what they are about to watch.
Do not put the video before the written text about it. That would have your reader, going in the wrong direction.
Always keep your hub writing flowing downward.
Again, nicely done.

Okay, to start with, the features in the capsules we have are already pretty awesome, and my hat is off to the programmers for coming up with all these utilities. There is one additional feature that would be on my wish list, and that would be the option to "drag and drop" photo and map...

As Cagsil noticed, we are in the process of testing out some changes to our text capsule editor. It's been turned on for a small number of specially selected trial users for a couple of days already, and now it's available to all. In order to switch, just change the settings on your...

I've just started going through the first lenses that got ported over as Hubs and here're a few things you can expect when you start reviewing your imported content.First of all, my lenses are still all showing on my Squidoo dashboard, so anything I might need if something is really wacky is still...

One or two of my hubs have fallen victim to the "does not meet quality standards" empty bubble. In one case, I imagine it is because the hub falls under the "purely personal" category, better suited to a blog. That's fine. I can move it. (It's an older hub...

I just published my first hub. I don't have my Adsense approval yet but did put some Amazon books on there. Right now I am more concerned with the format and the keywords thing. I can see I have a lot to learn and so far, I don't really get it.Anyway, if there is anyone who would look it over I...
