I remember the date, because it's also my best friend's birthday.
How I discovered HubPages: Last year, I was reading a copy of Time magazine, and they had a little blurb of only a few sentences, which described how you can make online income on eHow. Since I love to
write, I went to eHow, and checked it out. But I decided their required
format was too limiting. After a few days of research, I found HubPages.
And I decided to join HP based on the online community. Based on what
I saw in the forums, I could tell that ya'll had many friendly, supportive
And I'm still here. I'm rather too quick to abandon some endeavor if
I feel it isn't worthwhile, but this site has much to recommend it.
I think HubPages was a good first choice to try my hand at writing on
the web, and I have enjoyed the education very much.
Let me extend my best wishes to the fantastic staff at HP, as well.
Your success translates to my success. Cheers!
Gracenotes, congratulations on your year here! I am so happy that you still enjoy the site-I know I have no regrets whatsoever.
Time flies when you are having fun, doesn't it? Thanks for sharing your 1-year experience. Now that I've read your post, I will go check out your profile page.
Happy hub-irthday! Can you believe that I don't even remember how I stumbled across HP?!
That's great, Gracenotes, that you have enjoyed your year here. I hope to say the same one day, and don't see any reason not to.
Really good news and your are an inspiration to us hubbers, and I wish you many more years on hubpages.

Today I am at 79 score. I haven't seen this since I joined a year ago. Are there people out therewho are constantly voting me down. Maybe it is time to quit HubPages. I have made a point to participate when I can. I guess it isn't enough.
