Why does the hubscore fluctuate? Is there any particular reason for this?
It follows the tide during the full moon,
and,
follows the DOW during the other times.
I'm sure that this is the best explanation I have heard. Hahaha! I think it is completely moon/dow dependent.
That might actually be true. But, highly doubtful.
And here, I was going to tell him it had PMS.
It's mainly a result of your visitors to your Hub. More visitors mean a rise in Hub Score.
Yes. The reason is to get newbies to seemingly always ask about it. Sheesh! another one.
I did on another thread, but there are other things to consider, like activity in the forums and contests and hubnuggets, etc. Also if you go on a fanning binge it will decrease your score. Fanning a hubber and not commenting on his/her hub is not good. Word count, videos, photos, RSS feeds and how many fingers you type with, or toes.
That sounds like a serious algorithm that maybe only Google would employ
many things are related with it. here is a short list:
~ your waist size
~ Amount of traffic
~ The reputation of the Hubber
~ your great grand parents marriage day
~ The response of readers to your hub
~ Number of hair on your dog's legs
~ The uniqueness of content
~ cell phone no.your latest followers girl friend
~ brand of your favorite dish wash

But the most important thing are those ridiculously good looking people who just always keep the team busy checking their avatars.
Glad to hear that cats don't come into this! I'd be sunk if the did.
What if your latest follower doesn't have a cell phone?
Oh, and how many hits do I need a day from the search engine, 'Fido Finds 'em', to rank really well?
I am sure they will bring on cats as well, at least for you.
What if your latest follower doesn't have a cell phone? > you have to buy one for his girlfriend no alternative.
Oh, and how many hits do I need a day from the search engine, 'Fido Finds 'em', to rank really well?> i didn't get a single hit from the search engines, but few of my hubs rank very well, even they are in the first page
Mine goes from 60 to 90 for no apparent reason... i'm active in the same way, usually and post content regularly.

My author score is now 88. I've been active on the forums, hopping hubs, and answering questions. I haven't had this low of score since when I first started. Does removing poorly performing hubs cause author scores to go down or what is the problem?

What's the reason behind the sharp decline in my article's hubscore? Why is my article's hubscore sharply declined from 89 to 79? I've read that having ups and downs in the hubscore is pretty normal, but mine continuously declined to 79. And that's a huge decrease to be considered normal. Right? Is...

My title should have read another hub author score question . I have noticed this hubber that puts up a lot of hubs, however, they are all very short, most less than 100-200 words. The type of hub that can be put up in less than 15 mintues. And, the majority of their individual hub scores...
