I'm a newbie who is trying to answer question for another Hubber and whenever I click on the answer this question button I am taken to my user page. Is there some requirement I have to fulfill in order to do this hubber a favor of a reply? If so, it ought to be clearer what that is.
FWIW, I have clicked on the email link to confirm my email address, so that isn't it.

On HubPages home page, on the right, there are questions, and when I click on "answer this question", both yesterday and today, it has only opened on a "ask a question" form.Is there a mistake in the code or should I get better glasses?

Why are some of my hub titles appearing in purple?It doesn't seem to be anything to do with their age as some are older and one was only published yesterday. There does not seem to be an explanation in the list at the bottom of the page.

Not 30 minutes ago I posted a question regarding what happened in a particular TV show, right when I clicked 'post', it immediately said something along the lines of "This question is closed to new answers" , so I clicked on said question and it said "waiting for moderators...
