How is spell check updated? Would it be possible to add to spell check these three words:
faux and simulant, faux pas?
faux - not genuine or real; being an imitation of the genuine article; "it isn't fake anything; it's real synthetic fur"; "faux pearls"; "false teeth"; "decorated with imitation palm leaves"; "a purse of simulated alligator hide"
Due to its low cost and close visual likeness to diamond, cubic zirconia has remained the most gemologically and economically important diamond simulant
A faux pas is a violation of accepted social norms (for example, standard customs or etiquette rules). Faux pas vary widely from culture to culture
They haven't even added HubPages yet, have they? Seems like that get's underlined. You're probably gonna be waiting awhile.
Is there a spell-checker when we edit our Hubs? I'm in the process of writing a Hub now, and there doesn't seem to be a spell-checker. Am I misunderstanding something?
Google tool bar has a spell checker that lets you add to it.
How do you add the Google toolbar to get the spell check? Must I use the Google documents?
If you know how to spell them why do you need spell check?

Is your spelling getting worse?I prided myself as a kid on my excellent spelling. As the years go by it's getting constantly worse. I think it's the fault of Spell Checker, a blessed little program but one that makes us rely on it. Are you having the same experience?

After working hard I came top of my year in maths and geography however English was not so good as a...

Hi, I recently decided to click "ignore" on one of the words flagged by the spell checker, after this it has decided to ignore every single mis-spelt word on any hub, is there any way to turn it back on?

Does bad grammar and spelling bother you?I don't expect everyone to be an English professor, but for goodness sake people, use some punctuation and a built in spell-check! This is primarily aimed at forums, hubs, and places like YouTube comments. Places where people could take the time to read over...

I don't know if this is the right forum section for this question, but here goes:Has anyone else noticed that the spell checker cannot seem to "see" apostrophes, and therefore does not recognize legitimate words that are contractions?I've, Can't, Won't, Didn't, Haven't ... etc... all...

How dependent are you on Spell Check?Seeing made up words and misspellings all over HubPages made me wonder how dependent most people are on spell check. I do just fine checking my own work and using a dictionary (although I know I'm not perfect). I also know there are those who type their work...
