What is the spookiest place you have been? I remember one night our family took a break from driving on the road from Phoenix to L.A. and were in Palm Springs. It was very hot, but we wanted to stop and take a rest before we went on. We all were sleeping, but I woke with a very scary feeling that we needed to get out of there. My husband woke about the same time and had the same feeling so we started driving quickly away. Who knows what it was, but I remember feeling very spooked and glad to be leaving. What about you?
My ex-husband and I once owned an old theater for a while. It was once known as the Majestic and later as The Uptown. Since it was built into a hill, it had several levels. The very lowest level was a very uncomfortable place for a lot of people to be. It was much better when at least two people went down there together and always better with some light, but it was rather creepy to be down there alone.
Did anything happen there in the past? Just curious...
Stories Inc.: If your question is regarding the theater, I actually never researched the history of the building enough to know if anything happened on the lowest level. There was a rumor going around that someone supposedly fell from the rafters above the theater's ornate ceiling when it was being built, but it was never confirmed.
If your question is regarding the place that elayne001 mentioned, then I, too, am curious about that.

Do you think another city is more romantic than Paris?I could put "romantic" in quotation marks like this as I haven't been and don't want to assume there is truth to this labelling (and people must have diverse experiences in different places), but you hear it many times! I heard it...

Most of the times people may call House a Home, yes I understand them completely. But is it the same as having a big cozy house in another country and still call it home?I have had this experience, and no matter how I and the family try to make ourselves at home, there's always that little thing...
