so I know with static pages you can remove some adds form the adsense boxes which you do not find relevant to the content. Can this be done on Hubpages as well ?

You can. Log into your Adsense account, then use the Competitive ad filter to exclude ads from certain advertisers.

Do your ads disapear from your hubs ?I have some hubs that still have ads on them & others that don't at the moment .I know if you write adult content you lose them but These were ok.
