I just joined hubpages and would like to know if i can use my uk amazon account to make sales here.
Thanks to all in advance.
Not easily, no. HubPages' Amazon capsules are designed to work only with the US Amazon site (Amazon.com), so you'll have to set up as an affiliate with Amazon.com.
However, you can use the link capsule to give the reader a link to the UK Amazon product you want to promote, and embed your UK Amazon affiliate code in the link as per Amazon.co.uk's instructions. You can put a separate photo capsule with a picture of the product somewhere nearby. It's clunky, but do-able.
There was a discussion about this quite recently which might help:
Welcome to Hubpages my fellow Brit.
I do use some Amazon.co.uk links but 90% of my money is made on Amazon.com. They post you a cheque once you hit payout and it costs around £10 top bank it into a regular bank account.
You can create an astore on your UK Amazon, and include the link in your Hub. Just be careful not to add too many links or you will probably be penalised. The easiest way is to sign up for the US Amazon affiliate - I have both accounts and so do quite a few hubbers here.
