When posting a link in twitter or other forums, what is the difference between just posting the link and inserting the URL tracker in the link?

    Thx!

URL tracker count the no of page views  to your link and posting URL means you are giving links in someone

If using the tracker, you get credit for any sign-ups and pageviews generate through the link. Check of the FAQs for details. Some forums do not allow affiliate links, or it is frowned upon, so that is another thing to consider.

I thought the pageview would go to the hubber NO MATTER if the URL tracker is there or not, as long as it's the hubber's own hubpage URL. Is it not true then?

I checked the FAQ already but it's not exactly clear.

    thx again!

Yes, if someone visits your page, then you will get the pageviews even if no tracker is being used. You get 60% of the page impressions, and if the visitor clicks on any ads on your share of the page impressions, you will get 100% of the revenue from that.

By adding the tracker, you will get an additional percentage of the page impressions; this is taken out of HubPages' 40% share. And that will work regardless of what page someone visits.

Thx again! Last question... so the short URL provided in the hub DOES NOT carry the URL track rite?
