    Hi,

Is it possible that the time right after a big event such as Black Friday actually has less (much less...) search engine traffic than normal?

Because this is what I am seeing for my hubs... had a nice spike, now big crash. Am lower than 4 days ago now.

Edit: I mean my traffic was a record day, but people did not seem to click on ads after black friday for me anyway

My traffic has been consistent for the last 2 weeks or so now, but simply no one clicking on ads as I have made $.01 in the last week.

I saw a large drop on Thanksgiving day - no surprise there - but then it went back up and it seems to be holding steady...

Maybe it's a relief reaction.  High market volume/high volatility is often followed by a dead zone.

Not really.  I saw about 50% drop from the actual Black Friday "holiday" but I'm still getting nearly double the traffic I was seeing as recently as three weeks ago.
