I have been approved by Amazon, which is great and I have set my ID on the affiliate settings and all that, but all it shows that it is set but not active....any reasons for that?
That is normal, all mine are set except for AdSense.

There is nothing to sort out. It is normal and as should be. From the Learning Center:
>>Entering Your Amazon Affiliates Code
And voilà! Your Amazon status will change to “Saved” and then “Set” and you’re good to go!>>
