I created an account with Amazon Affiliates and added my code, under status it says "set" while my Google status is "active". Is there something else I need to do to change Amazon's status to "active", or is this a waiting game?
My Amazon also says "Set" so I believe that this means all is good. The different wording hubpages uses in that section does confuse things a bit doesn't it.
That is what mine says as well never thought to ask if it was right though
mine said set until i was denied because i didnt do it right but if you did it right it will change to active i think
Set is Active.
I'm not sure why they use different terms, but I *think* it's because for adsense, hubpages gets your information for you (so they KNOW it's right). So they know that it's active.
Whereas for amazon and analytics, you write in the code, and so hubpages ASSUMES (but doesn't know) it's right. So it's set, but if you wrote it wrong, it technically wouldn't be active.
