When I go into the stats, I almost always want the Hub Metrics - when I am creating a Hub, I want to see the word count and also see the estimated $$$$.
I would love it if I could create a default so that when I open the stats, it jumps to the Hub Metrics tab.
Perhaps once I get things up and rolling the traffic sources will have more meaning.
Under Stats there are so many great choices, creating an individual default most be a big time saver and great convenience to writers.
Your thoughts? Your favorites under the Stats?
Traffic sources are what interests me - am I getting hits from google, yahoo and bing, or are they all from organic backlinks etc?
Word count I only want to see once, if that. And the $$$ sign is meaningless, really. It doesn't tell you how much you're going to make. It's just an indication of the worth of your keywords. So you might choose keywords that are worth $$$$$ but if you're not getting search engine hits, you'll likely never make a cent.
Well, that may well be true but look at the intend of this post. The idea of having a default tab is a good one. What if I don't want to see the Total of views but the Monthly one by default? Or the HubMetrics if I desire.

I'm looking at the stats of my hubs like "search phrases" and view duration. My view duration is usually 4-5 stars. Is that a good indicator that the hub will be ranked better & viewers like the hub? I'm not sure how the stats are calculated.

Looking down my list of traffic sources I have two search sites (avg and comcast) that each say "-1" views over the last 24 hours. What in the world does that mean? I assumed it's a stats glitch or something. Otherwise my traffic looks normal for a Tuesday. Is this anything I...

I just checked my traffic sources and saw that my numbers are going backwards in several areas! That's a first!

Ever since the switch to subdomains, I have seen specific subdomain names listed on the traffic stats for individual Hubs; and on the Traffic Sources Page, the numbers for HubPages have seemed to decline (understandably). Recently, I have seen higher numbers for HubPages.com, and I don't...

I notice that on most of my hubs my visitor duration is 5*s. (a handful of 4*s, but nothing ever less than 4*s). I am wondering if my hubs are just so interesting that my readers stay awhile or is a 5* duration rating fairly easy to achieve? I don't want to pat myself on the back...

Before I'm blasted, let me just say that I realize that all the columns on our "My Account" stats page are sortable and it's super easy to change it out anytime I want. However, I'm wondering how many of us automatically resort the stats because the default setting (highest...
