According to my account my Adsense cheque (my biggest yet!) was sent out on the 21st of December. It still hasn't reached here. I usually get it around the 5th of the month, and even taking the Holidays into consideration, and remember that Spain has extra holidays on the 5th of January too, it is still late because it was posted early.
I'll give it a few more days, then contact who exactly? The issuing bank is in Madrid but the accompanying notes always come from Google Ireland - address given but no phone or contact number.
I'm sick of the amount of post that goes missing around here!

Report it to Google and they'll stop the cheque and issue a new one.

One of mine went missing and they responded fairly quickly.

      Can't you get direct deposit?

I have mine direct deposited and find it gives me a great peice of mind.

Do so by signing into your google account and adding your bank account information.  You will need to verify by confirming the desposit amount they make into your account and then your set!

    Good Luck!  smile

I think direct deposit to bank is available only to selected countries.

    Thanks Girls smile
I only found out about direct deposit last month but it was in the middle of the Christmas rush and so I never got round to filling in the details...typical!

Spain is very strict about being unable to cash a cheque that is not in your name, so I doubt if it has been stolen. It is just missing, and google won't know it is missing until I tell them, but I don't want to get the cheque stopped one day and for it to turn up the next!

I would be patient, Ireland and England both suffered from crippling snow which might have slowed things down a little.

The only way to communicate to google about missed check is here: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/A … &hl=en

You have to post your problem and wait for reply. If you are lucky you get a reply from google rep in a matter of hours, if not - you may want to bump your post after a week or so. Good luck!

Happily, my cheque (yeah I know you lot call them checks!) turned up today smile

The envelop carried a  London address, the paying bank is in Madrid, the paperwork came from Ireland and it has a German postmark!

No wonder it took so long to get here!

Glad you found the check Izzy, but it seems that Google found a way to make sure that you didn't take the money away from them so soon. smile

Thanks Sidd and Susana - Yeah I really will have to set up a direct bank payment to save this hassle in future.
Thanks for that link Misha. I was putting off contacting Google in case they stopped the cheque and then it turned up next day or something. All's well that ends well smile

I love this particular thread.  Talking about money drives away pangs of hunger.  I hope and pray that mine will find its way home.

Permit me to reactivate this post.  6 months ago I posted a wish for my adsense earnings to come true.  Indeed, it materialized.  It came through the post office with a cheque # 056891361 with its issue date April 28, 2011 in the amount of $100.93.  It represented my online writing struggle for the last 2 years.  The amount is too small compared to the sweats and labor I had undertaken, but the inner feelings of having the internet conquered is incomparable and priceless.  This very minute I have high hopes not only for me but for us all hubbers that in the days to come we'll be experiencing rosy dreams, what with the additional hubpages ad program aside from the basic.  Since last payment of the basic adsense of $100.93, I've now earned $4.19 per record.  My hubpages ad program earnings since joining the program last April 2 is $23.35.  Yes, this rewards are nothing but they mean so much to the old man.  Inspired, I am doing research to increase CLICKS because I believe they increase adsense earnings.

A few minutes ago, I shifted website to SUB-DOMAIN.  Though not well-oriented on its merits, I did it on the firm belief that hubpages will not lead us into perdition.
