There are some great ones in Victorian newspapers, i will be writing some hubs around some of these in the future. My favorite one is from the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, 1840s vintage, requesting that the owner of a red cow come and take it home as it is hanging around Garret Van Duyne's farm and it is not his. And there is a little drawing of a cow too, I think. I could be making that up because I'd really like there to be...
There's a book of these, historical classifieds, sorry I can't think of the name...they are really great, aren't they? I always like reading them. Yours is really excellent BTW!
