The ID in my Hubpages set up for Adsense and the ID in my Google Adsense account differ slightly. (Hubpages has extra leading characters.) As this seems to be an automated process in Hubpages, how can I get this reconciled?
Those extra leading characters will do no harm. Don't worry. It is the right way
To prove that to yourself, you may want to setup an AdSense URL Channel for 'hubpages.com'. If you are seeing impressions in the reports after a day or so under that channel, then things are working fine.
Thanks for this information. When I signed up I didn't get the adsense option. I seperately set up an adsense account from Google.
Let me get this straight if you don't mind, at the Add new URL channel I simply put in "hubpages.com" is that correct?
That's correct, but you'll need to associate your AdSense account with HubPages first, if you haven't. You can do that from the affiliate settings page.
