I've never understood how a person EVER gets bored. God, there's so much to do, every day -- books, exercise, writing, movies, cooking, going for a walk. The only time I'm bored is when I'm stuck in line somewhere, or at a meeting, where I can only sit around and listen.
Boredom is when you feel depressed about having nothing to do. Like someone pointed out right here, it does not exist nowadays. The Internet is one of the things that killed the very concept of boredom.
Just wondering?I got pointed to hubs, to try and correct someone who hates superbikes, being a superbiker myself. Actually ended up posting a couple of hubs in the process.Right now I'm finishing a three year assignment in a remote spot in the Pacific, so for once I have too much time on my hands....
yes I know I have 2 hubs of things to do when bored but I don't feel like doing any of those...I'm in a rut per say...and bored bored bored.I want to write but I don't want to write. I want to read but don't want to read. I want to go somewhere but I don't feel like going anywhere. *sigh* just one...
Not a happy bunny. Following on from finding one of my hubs copied, and filing a DMCA, I've been checking other hubs. One that I did kind of expect to do well has never quite got the traffic I'd hoped. Have just done a check, and found the entire text and my title on six other sites.I am so cheesed...
AttitudeBoredom is a state of mind. If I choose to be bored that is my fault. I choose not to be bored by seeking activities that I enjoy or finding ways to make tedious tasks enjoyable. You get out of life what you put into it.
