   You created a great response to Brenda's word challenge, Chitrangada.  I agree that creative people rarely get bored.  That video at the end was most interesting!  It is hard to believe that so many people would rather shock themselves rather than let their mind wander and think.  Amazing!

   In your article,
   "11 Funny Boredom Quotes— Word Prompt 40" you have given us some very good quotes on boredom.
   My favorite one is in the beginning:
   
   * When boredom strikes creativity takes over.*
   
   At least for me, this happens to be true. I don't seem to be bored with all these thoughts rambling around.
   Except there are those moments when I'm not feeling well that seem to make my mind think I'm bored.
   It's hard to do anything when you don't feel good, but yet your body wants to keep pushing forward.
   
   Your acrostic poem, "Acrostic Poem on‘Boredom’" tells us how we can stop ourselves from becoming bored.
   
   I absolutely love the video you included and yes, I watched it entirely.
   I know John claims to not suffer from bouts of boredom, but I beg to differ ~ for like myself he lives in a world of creativity.
   We do listen to our thoughts but we would never get so bored that we would shock ourselves.
   
   Thank goodness we have words floating around to distract us.

   I enjoyed reading your beautiful hub. I loved the very funny and cute quotes and the poem as well. I feel I have never got a chance in my life to get bored. Lol!
   
   I especially loved this quote and this is something I sometimes practice as well. lol!  "It's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." --- Marilyn Monroe.
   
   I am a highly talkative person. I don't let people get bored, and it also keeps me occupied. Lol!
