I have many ideas that can help us all, much like many other people do. I really should get paid for this! In the long run I am sure I will. I have many more genius ideas, that can take this site to the next level if you are interested.

I have been here for 5 months and I have seen the real potential in this site. However if I had creative control I would make Hubpages a real legitimate contender to possibly even Google. I believe in this Website that much.

Hubpages can easily become a very lucrative career, or even just a fun job for anyone that is smart enough to sign up.

This site has a solid base of writers that is a given. So lets move on and pass on trying to get new writers with the cheesy homepage. Heck. I'll even admit it to you. I went to google and searched "hubpages scam". Most people will never do this. As they do not have the attention span.

So what do I suggest? I will start simply by saying SEARCH!

The main focus of this site should be easy access to all of it's content. Not getting writers.

I'm going to bash the homepage right now, but that is only because this site needs to move on, as it is way beyond that. As much as I'm sure Chuck is a nice guy, but much like Tom of Myspace, I am sick of him!!! He's getting all the exposure along with the same 10 people. Which I am not jealous about, nor am I taking anything away from them, but it just doesn't seem right. Not for a homepage at least. So every time a random person shows up they see the same guy. I am not saying you need to get rid of this idea, but move it to a new section that isn't a homepage.

The homepage needs to focus on the search bar and search bar alone. If they use it and it gives them even better content than google, they might just make it their homepage. And as more people begin to do that, they will begin to realize that we are all normal people making money, and they will begin to write their own content as well. Creating money for all and giving everyone the best content available.

Take a page right out of Googles book and think simple. People want simple. So give them a BIG SEARCH BAR, which they are used to admitting anything to. That should be front and center for members and traffic alike. The content is there, so let them serach for it, rather than trying to get them to sign up! Let them use it and get used to it.

I really feel like I am giving way too much info out, so I'll stop there. As there is more to go along with what I have already said. However if the staff would like to hear more I am full of ideas. I have many ideas about the homepage, as well as several other very useful ideas. And I can guarantee everyone will reap the benefits.

I can make a hub about it, and explain it in detail if people think I am on to something. I am telling you, this will put hubpages over the edge, and from that point I can really help make this site soar.

Interesting perspective, Mikey.  I've passed this on to the rest of the team.

So whats going on with this. With Google having almost complete control of us, does Hubpages plan on expanding on this area?
