I joined HubPages 4 weeks ago and have done a lot of reading. I've written 9 hubs. Overall, they have been viewed 595 times. Any help and/or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have listed my most recent hub, my first hub, most recently edited and lowest traffic/score.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to HubPages!

I read your Mary Poppins hub, and I think it was very well done. I would add a couple of more tags to the hub, like "disney movies" or "classic disney movies." You're going to go up against sites like Amazon and Disney in the search results, so I would suggest two changes. First, move your Amazon capsules up to the top. I would put them flush right of your first text capsule so that they replace the AdSense. Also, go back into edit mode, look for "summary" in the box on the right and write your own custom summary. Write roughly 25 words that SELL your hub and make people want to choose you over Amazon. I would say something like "Learn the history of the movie and buy Mary Poppins on DVD online" or something along those lines.

On the bride hub (also really well written, btw), move the photo you have up top down. Always, always leave the space to the right of the first text capsule for an AdSense or Amazon ad, and make sure the text is long enough so that the Amazon ad shows up. You should also move your Amazon ads up a bit and bump up the tags. Go for a few general tags (brides, wedding, etc.) and a few more niche tags.

All in all, nice job though!

Thank you for both your compliments and suggestions. Both put a smile on my face. I've made the changes you've suggested and will be sure to follow the advice you've given me in my future hubs. Thanks again!
