Hey Hubberville,
Are you in the mood to write? Would you like an energy rush from adrenaline? Step up, take on the Instant Hub Challenge!
What is an "Instant Hub Challenge"? To be completely honest it varies from host to host, however, the main objective is to write and publish one hub in 30 minutes time. You begin when everyone else begins. It must be a fresh hub and not one already started.
The variations- poetry is not generally accepted, but technically, a hub is a hub, regardless of what's written. In this challenge, poetry is not being considered quality, because it lacks wording sufficient to pass substandard ratings.
So, if you're up for a challenge, then come join me at 7:00pm Eastern Standard Time, USA. I'll be more than happy to read and comment on each hub written from the challenge.
Come join the fun?
Sounds fun, but too late in the day for most us in the UK to participate....
It's actually, usually done later, like around 11:30pm. I'm just in the mood to write and see who else is too. Sorry.
sounds a good idea..let me see if I can join the challenge
7pm EST - is that not 8 hours behind GMT+1? That makes it 3am?? In case, I regretfully decline the offer but thanks anyway
I always wanted to do this, but tonight won't work out considering I'm going out for some yummy dinner at 7 exactly...
Next time.
Back from dinner. Went to Outback with my cousin. Love the Bloomin Onion.
Let me know next time anyone chooses to do this 30 min HubPage contest.
Darn. I was working on a hub and just published it. Too bad I didn't wait another 20 minutes, lol!
The Instant Hub Challenge is about consciously writing a hub in 30 minutes.
I did one write a fresh hub in about 30 minutes, but had no idea there was going to be a challenge coming up. I have spectacular timing.
Actually, it took me about 40 minutes, so even if I had started at 7:00, I doubt it would have been done by 7:30. Maybe next time!
So that would be 9 p.m. Mountain Standard? If I am still awake, I will play.
Hey RedElf, the time has already expired on starting. It was 15 minutes ago.
Given the problems Hubpages appears to be having at the moment should you really be encouraging people to pump out second rate pages right now?

Ok, so I have this idea. It may flop horribly, but that's fine too, I'm bored so, whatever. So, I've seen the 30 day challenge before, 1 hub every day for 30 days. I have not the attention span for that. However, as a drinker, a bored person, and a fast typist, I might go for 1...

Ok, so a few weeks ago I was drinking on a Friday night (like every other night) and decided to have a 30 minute hub writing contest. U know, they have 30 hubs in 30 days, so I figured why not 1 hub in 30 minutes? We got like four hubs done, and another that didn't make it in a half hour, but...
