I'm posting three so you can pick the most interesting topic to you!
I don't consider myself an awesome writer, but I don't think I stink either.

If you're taking time out of your busy schedule to help, please be brutally honest about what you think!

I liked the marathon article. I would love to run one, but I don't think I ever will... I don't like running that much, but I live in NYC and the marathon runs up 1st avenue so I go every year I walk over and cheer them on. The energy is amazing... You might want to look into supplements that help your body recover faster and endurance...like msm, maca, greens powder, etc. That might make training more efficient. Also taking extra magnesium at night for muscles, drinking coconut water which is almost the same in molecular structure to blood plasma...actually, coconut water was used in place of blood transfusions in the pacific war when there was no blood. No fatalities were reported. Nice writing though. I have noticed there are many Hubs where grammar is quite off (I am sure mine are not perfect either).

Thanks for replying! I know my grammar stinks. I always re-read the hubs before posting, but sometimes mistakes slip by.

I had a look at Large Macaws, and what a lovely hub! Full of information that is sure to please the searcher! Well done!

I spotted a couple of tiny grammatical errors where you haven't capitalised or have missed a vowel in the middle of a word (I do that sort of thing all the time), but I would highly recommend you proof read and sort them because I think this is a jewel of a hub smile

I haven't proof read your hubs, but would like to offer some general advice on the pictures. I would like to see 4 more pictures on the marathon hub, plus two you tube clips. On the useful jobs for a teenager just two you tube clips added. The Macaw hub has 5 really nice pictures, 2 you clips would be nice. These additions would add substantial content and greatly increase your CTR (click thru rate). which should increase your earnings and also raise the position of ranking on the search engine. Congratulations your hubs are strong, and these are merely suggestions.

    I've reviewed the below hubs-
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Training-for-Marathons

    (a) Use more text capsules. By doing so, you create more ad spaces for Google Adsense. Not to mention, the "title" section or "caption header" can be used better than bold text within a capsule. The header/title of a text capsule is automatically in bold type to begin with.

    (b) A spell checker or a writing program, such as MS Word would probably be very helpful. If you use Firefox, like I do, then spell checker is built into your typing.

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Useful-Jobs-for-a-Teenager

    (a) Again use more text capsules.
    (b) Keywords/tags should not be used in excessive, otherwise HP will flag the hub- the easiest way to stay within the confines is to use 9-15 keywords/tags(usually targeted, not broad-based or generalized) for articles up to 1500 words. You can use up to 40 keywords/tags for articles over 1500 words.

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Large-Macaws

    (a) Keywords/tags, as described above.

    I hope that helps. smile

      @Cagsil

Thanks I wasn't aware of the more capsule=more ads 'trick'. I also wasn't aware of the keyword rules.

      Thanks again!

I like your suggestion to add more text capsules. I am new to this community and was using one big text box for convenience...didn't realize by adding more text boxes more ad space is generated = more money. Though I haven't made anything yes thus far.
