I joined a week ago and posted three hubs.
I mostly spent time reading what others do.
Can you please advise me if I'm on track, and if you think I'm using the Amazon ads properly and at the best place?
Welcome to Hubpages. I joined sometime ago, but I haven't written much recently - so there will be other people who can advise you better. I have just read two of your hubs - pigs bedding and the IPad one. You write clearly and with knowledge. My only comment would be is that I think you need to add pictures. The guinea pig one would just capture people's attention. I think this is what most people would say. Enjoy your writing.
I've reviewed your hubs-

(a) Not enough content. This hub could be flagged for substandard article. Articles should be 400 words or longer.
(b) Since there isn't enough content in this hub, then you've not run into the a common problem many new members have, such as using more than one text capsule, to open up more ad spaces.
(c) Keywords/tags- You don't have enough of them. On articles up to 1500 words, you can use 9-15 keywords/tags and on articles over 1500 words, you can use up to 40 keywords/tags.

The above hub has the same problem as the previous hub.

The above hub has the same problem as the previous two hubs.
I hope that helps.
Thank you for your helpful comments, I will make some changes soon.

Was hoping to get some feedback on my first hub. The thing that confused me is that when I added photos it seemed to take away points - does that sound right. I do blogging and always feel photos help the reader experience. Still just learning as a hubpages newbie and looking for all tips and...

As many of you know, HP has recently provided us with a number of new ways to record feedback to the writers of hubs. In addition to just making ordinary comments, you can now add reinforcing clicks by simply checking the words "Useful", " Funny", "...

Hey Hubbers,I could use some feedback on a Hub I just published. I've tried to make it presentable as much as possible, especially since I'm really not trying to sell anything at all.Again, for those who know me, I'm simply passing along knowledge I've learned to others.Again, I'm not asking your...
