Today I flew back to Orlando, Florida from my vacation in Vermont. I love being back where I can wear a T shirt and shorts instead of coats and boots! smile

Here's a few pictures I took of the ski slopes and my friend's maple sugar operation. I'll go back up,,, in July! big_smile

Very nice (although we are a bit tired of snow here right now).  Did you bring back some maple syrup?  Or maple sugar candy?  smile

No, I had my share of it while I was up there. Seeing it poured into 40 gallon barrels makes you lose your appetite for it. big_smile

But I made sure my mom and sister got some.  smile

There really is no thing as vacation in this business. They're all "business trips for research purposes."

Yeah I'll make a few new hubs from them. Most are going in my own sites however, plus youtube videos as I also took videos. smile

Haven't been near a sugar bush in ages - lucky Bill! Thanks for sharing your great photos!

Your welcome RedElf. I almost slid my mom's car in the ditch the very last night due to it snowing with sleet. I don't miss that, I use to sail off the road at least once a year each winter up there. hmm

      Hi rebekahELLE! smile

Yes indeed, it's so nice to go from a sweatshirt, boots and coats to sneakers and T shirts. I made the right decision when I moved down here.

I know.. it's nice to visit outside of the state at times, but I enjoy the Florida lifestyle.. although I can't say I'm very happy with our governor. oh well... life goes on, regardless. big_smile

nice, but still cold there, did you ski? where's our maple syrup?

    1. Bill Manning profile image74
Bill Manningposted 7 years agoin reply to this

No I did not ski, however I use to be pretty good at downhill skiing. Since I no longer have the equipment, by the time I rented everything and got a day ticket it would cost around 200 bucks! hmm

My friend said he'd be sending your syrup out soon! big_smile

Ok, I'll wait for it, the syrup. That is expensive, 200!!
