Even though I am still fairly new to hubpages and am somehat familiar with getting around on the site. My question is where can I go on the hubpages to assist or help out other, newer hubber, with questions that they may have. In other words advice please on where to go to volunteer some of my free time, to assist these other new hubbers in feeling their way?
Thanks for the feedback
right where you are if you see a question asked in the forums that you think you can give some insight on, then by all means, go for it. Sometimes newbies ask questions in the question/answer section as well.
Definitely in the Extreme Hub Makeover forum, where people ask for critique all the time. That is where I would focus my attention, if I were you. Also, you can learn a lot from critiquing the work of others and from reading other Hubbers' comments.

The community at hubpages is quite active but disappointingly I don't get any answers for a number of questions I have put up here. Is it that people are discussing a lot of other stuff and the subject I am exploring isn't of interest to many others here?

Is the hubpages Question and Answer feature unique on the web?I'm wondering if the hubpages Q and A section is not what it actually is! I find myself a bit addicted. I never even knew this feature existed and understand the stated purpose. However, I seem ADDICTED to looking for new...

I am sorry to have to bring this up, but, and I don't want to get banned from HP's by naming names - but there are some complete dick heads in these forums who think they know it all and walk all over everyone else, you must have seen them or read their answers, so condescending it is unbelievable....

Why can't people on Hubpages disagree without attacking others?Opposing positions can lead to a better understanding. Personal attacks say a lot about the commenters' inability to discuss a matter intelligently.
