my daughter and her boyfriend are travelling to the US in september. They would like to know how easy is it to get a cab from New York central station to skyline hotel- situated near central park. any help would be great
thanks in advance
Cabs are a way of life in NYC, and they're everywhere. All they need to do is walk outside and hail one. If they're uncomfortable hailing a cab, have them go out of Grand Central onto Vanderbilt Ave. There used to be a cab stand there on the corner of Vanderbilt and 43rd. I'm pretty sure it's still there.
BTW -- that's less than a 10 minute drive, unless they're traveling at rush hour.

I know some of you will think this idea to be a bad one or even an inconvenient one, but there are many hubbers here who have no clue what the hell they are sending out to the public. Many of these hubbers are from English speaking countries so I am not writing this in reference to non-native...

Perhaps the saddest thing I see on a regular basis on HubPages is the effort of foreign HubPages members with limited English to establish a readership for their hubs. Too often I come across hubbers whose intentions are clearly very sincere and genuine and who may have very worthwhile things to...
