I'd like to create my ow custom designed graphics for a anumber of future hubs. Could annybody reccomend a free design program that can be used to create very simple illustrations mixed with text?
I know people will use programs like Photoshop and the like. I personally use Microsoft PowerPoint for my graphics, photos, making divider bars and text effects with photos. There is a lot you can do with this program.
What I really like is I can save it as a powerpoint and go back to make changes later, save separately as an image.
If you use Office, it comes with the program usually. if not, then it does cost.
Open Office, which is open source and free, comes with image applications. I have used it to make covers, and find it adequate with a good interface.
