I may potentially aspiring journalist and I joined hubpages about 12 days ago, have written 12 hubs and have gotten about 300 views and I'm trying to think of the best and fastest way to become more widely read and create a larger network of followers.
What do you guys think?
There are no shortcuts. To be widely read, you have to read and comment widely. You should follow others out of interest, then hope others may do likewise for you. Also, you can get some limited exposure by joining the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge.

I am new to HP. What topics are most widely read? is it Personal Finance or Food and Cooking?If the topic is widely read the chance it will earn some adsense money will be greater than unpopular hubs.
