I just tried to send another Hubber a private message via the "Contact hubber" link to inform him of a bad url in his hub. But it seems the message never went through.
When I clicked "send" my browser would just sit there for a long time and after a while it timed out and replaced the page with a blank contact form again. No indication that the message was sent.
I tried this 40 minutes prior to this post, in case that helps staff locate any error logs on the system.
I'll bet it's the captcha that's doing it: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/10889
