Please go easy, I'm learning the ropes...or should I say hubs?
I'm keen and want to crack on building some nice hubs. Any feedback, tips or help would be tremendous!
Thanks in advance.
Write to what you know, Promote to whom you know. Find Hubbers in your area, follow and learn.
Your first text capsule needs to be longer; this will result in the big google ad moving up next to that capsule right at the top of the hub.
Suggest you flush the Amazon ads to the right; several such ads in the center of the hub are quite distracting and annoying. Same thing for the link to the unsigned guide and your own band, and you might color them then.
"Writing the next hit" heading with nothing but a small picture looks decidedly odd.
Many hubbers will advise against a large picture as the first capsule. I'm not so sure about that, but it is something to think about.
You have made a very good beginning, and have learned to used capsules instead of one long text string - a good thing. Keep writing and learning - it will come together. I predict a bright future for you.

Since I was turned down by HP regarding their apprenticeship program due to the fact that "you don't write well enough" (I so wish I didn't delete that email) yet I'm still allowed to write hubs which apparently are subpar then are they keeping me here so their pockets get fuller? ...

In edit mode for my Non-Surgical Bunion Treatment hub, I keep getting a message saying I have a large number of amazon products and that each one should be relevant to the adjacent text.I've gotten this message for a long time, even though I've edited the hub several times, and took away a couple...

We have some exciting news, Hubbers! As of today, the Callout Capsule will be available in the HubTool for everyone. We initially enabled a limited version of the capsule to help keep imported Lenses from Squidoo as intact as possible, but we have also been listening to the numerous requests to...

Last night I went in an edited a capsule so that it would be full width, which is what HP wants everyone to do. The article I edited has been published and featured since 2012. When I went in and edited, however, the editor that read it decided that it was no longer going to be featured. I was told...

In the edit screen is appears to wrap, but it's not wrapping when done editing/published. It was when published, but now it's not, as least for one of my hubs..In case, you need to see an example: http://hubpages.com/hub/Halloween-Home-Decorations
