I've just got approved and i've been reading all of the help information but cannot find anything to tell me where to paste the code. Can someone point me in the right direction please?
You don't have to paste a code directly on your hubs. Go into "My Account", then "Earnings", then you will see an option to configure Google Adsense. When you open that you will paste your long affiliate code...it should start with a ca-pub-and then a bunch of numbers. Save and that's it. The ads automatically show up on your hubs.
Hope I explained this right.....let us know if you figure it or if you have another question.
OK THANKS GUYS i REALLY AM NEW TO THIS! THE PROBLEM ACTUALLY IS THAT HUBPAGES STILL SAYS MY ACCOUNT IS PENDING EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN APPROVED - I GUESS I WONT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING UNTIL I FIX THIS. ANY IDEAS ON THIS ONE?
Were you actually approved for Adsense or did you just apply? You'll receive an email from Adsense after applying to say they're considering your application but it can take a few days to get approved. During that time your account exists but will not work properly till approved.
If you know you have been approved, wait a day or two and the problem should work itself out. With the number of hubs you have, and your traffic, it's unlikely you're missing out on much $$.
Yes I have been approved. I'm not so much concerned about the money that I am losing out on at the moment. I just want to get learning and figuring the whole thing out!
ok two days later and Hubpages still say my Google adsense application is pending. Should I be concerned? I def have an email from google to say i've been accepted
Why don't you paste the contents of Google's email (omitting personal information) here, so we can see whether you have understood it correctly. It is possible that you have actually not been approved yet, but the application has been received.
If you have been duly approved, the massage should start with "Welcome to AdSense...."
Congratulations on your new Google AdSense account! In order to begin participating in the AdSense program, you'll need to generate and implement your ad code ....
Guys, I do understand the basics, I just dont understand why Hubpages is still telling me that my account is pending approval??
I'm sorry if i sound aggravated but the whole application process has taken forever and has been far more complicated than it ever needed to be.
I suggest you take it up with them:
I expect that you gave Google (via HubPages affiliate settings) the digits for the zip code and phone number that you used to sign up for AdSense. Subsequently, you should have received an email message from Google with a link to click on. Once clicked, the AdSense affiliate ID should be automatically filled in, and the status should change to "active."
Unless that email was received and the link clicked, the activation cannot be completed. This is just for the record.
yes i have done all of the above as far as I can see. I;ve sent an email to HP so i will wait and see what comes of it. Thanks for your help.
Did you approve hubpages in your Adsense account to display your adverts?
Log into your Adsense account, click on My Account, Account Access, then enable access for that site.

A week ago, I received an email from Google AdSense saying my application had been partially reviewed, they would continue to review my site and it would be either approved or disapproved in 4 business days. I still haven't heard anything. Is there anything I can do other than send them an email?

Hello. Is there anyone here from an Asian country who got their google adsense approved? I've heard that if you reside in an asian country, you have to wait for 6 months. To be specific?
